The festival and the Night of the Archives turns into a great broadcast, with a schedule of over 50 episodes, including 18 author podcasts produced by Archivissima, all dedicated to the stories of the archives, which are transferred online on the same dates as they should have gone live.
These are flanked by the contents created by the individual participating archives: around 80 podcasts and more than 100 videos. Despite the health emergency, the Night of the Archives involves all Italian regions, becoming the first National Archives Night, sponsored this year by ANAI, the Italian National Archival Association.
All podcasts and digital materials produced will be available for free starting from the dates of the event on the Archivissima channels ( ) and re-launched by the social profiles (Instagram and Facebook) of the event and of all the participating partners and archives.

From 05th to 08th June which introduces the International Archives Day on 9th June.

A festival for all. From children to students, from archivists to cultural operators, from citizens to enthusiasts of culture and its connections.

In Turin and beyond ... The collaboration with the Polo del '900 is renewed, which will also be the home of the Festival for the third edition. Around and throughout Italy there will be the headquarters of the historical Archives, protagonists of #ArchivissimaEXTRA and of the Night of the Archives.

The first national festival that focuses on the Archives, their history, their future, designing the possible scenarios for the development of the cultural industry starting from new ways of enhancing historical heritage.

One of the important innovations of the 2020 edition is the participation of ANAI (Italian National Archival Association). This format has been planned like as an opportunity to enhance the historical, artistic, cultural and industrial heritage preserved in the historical archives of institutions and companies.
A special occasion to show that archives are not dusty places but precious custodians of a shared story of collective history, which can be reinterpreted from new points of view.
In 2020 the Night of the Archives finally becomes national!

An online exhibition tour that declares the presence of women in archival documents. In Greek, the term epochè meant "arrest, starting point", and for this reason it indicates, in philosophy, the "suspension of judgment", prologue to the authentic philosophical reflection.
